The following are some of my favorite resources I’ve found helpful in my personal journey to pursue a relationship with God from Bible Study to ministry resources. I hope you find them just as helpful.
I talk a lot about mental health on my blog. I know what it’s like to want to take my own life so I can be with Jesus in heaven. Thankfully I have a great support system. If you don’t have someone safe to reach out to, please contact this lifeline. You matter.
The best way to find answers to your questions about Christianity is to look in the Bible itself. Bible Gateway is more than just an on-line Bible, it has an exhaustive concordance (AKA “index”), commentaries (theologian’s thoughts and explanations of scripture), and even devotionals. This is a great resource for searching through the Bible and understanding it better whether you are just curious about Christianity or are a life-long believer of Christ.
Get deeper into the word with a plethora of bible Study tools at Blue Letter Bible. I love getting into the original language and meaning of words in the scriptures, but they have many other resources that are helpful in personal Bible study.
Questions are a part of life. Whether you have chosen to follow Jesus with your life or not, you probably have questions about religion and life. Got Questions? is a great resource for finding answers to a variety of questions about religion and the Bible.
Formerly known as Campus Crusade for Christ, Cru is an amazing ministry that I was a part of for many years. This organization has really paved the way for transferring the gospel to real life in a practical way. This is a great resource for both finding information about Christianity but also connecting with someone who lives near you that would love to talk with you personally about what it means to be a Christian no matter whether you are a high school student, college student, working professional, a parent, and the list goes on.
